The quiet roads of the Bavarian Forest seem designed for bikers and will make any motorcyclist's heart beat a little faster. A lot of roads are like an unlimited collection of curves - a delight for both relaxed motor tourists and dynamic drivers. The Bavarian Forest is also the largest forested area of Central Europe, with over 6000 sq km of woodlands.
This part of Eastern Bavaria is very well known as a walker's paradise. That it also is a paradise for cyclists, is still an insider's tip. Mind you: the Lamer Winkel-Arber cycling route is a demanding route for the psychically fit!
Cycles and motorcycles can be parked in our locked garage at no extra charge. Please reserve your parking space at time of booking, and mention the type or size of your motorbike.
Of course, we are happy to give you touring tips. You can also download tours here (German language site) - among others directly in GPX format ready for your GPS system. Cycling and motorcycling maps are for sale, in some cases even given away, at the hotel. In the summer, we also have have a package deal that will suit biker needs (see package deals)
