Haus am Berg

Hotel Haus am Berg is a small, family-owned hotel in one of the most beautiful parts of the Nature Park Bavarian Forest. Unspoilt forests, crystal-clear streams and fresh air still worth breathing  - landscapes like the Lamer Winkel are rare. Whilst on holiday in this area, former German President Horst Köhler called Lam "one of the most beautiful areas in Germany". This fascinating landscape can be enjoyed from our roofed terrace with a wonderful view.
The homely hotel with 16 rooms is located in a very quiet south-facing location in the Lam-Frahels hamlet. Several signposted walking routes pass by the hotel.  Built in keeping with local style, Haus am Berg is nevertheless a hotel that offers modern amenities such as wireless Internet and satellite TV.

Service

Service is written with a capital S in our hotel. We believe that hospitality should come straight from the heart and should not be an insincere performance. We are very proud that we have collected many prizes, and the many outstanding reviews from a lot of satisfied guests. We have also acquired the quality seal Service Quality Germany. This is totally in character with the slogan of our Tip-Top Hotelcooperation: Willkommen bei Freunden ´(Welcome at friends).

Rooms

All 16 rooms are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, fridge with drinks, SAT/TV with several hundred channels (German & international),  DSL-socket, Wireless LAN, telephone, alarm clock, and largely with  balcony/terrace.

Whether standard or room with balcony or terrace: all room of one type have the same size and the same furniture.

All balcony- and terrace rooms have a large outdoor area and, of course, garden furniture, and a wonderful view of the Weisse Regen valley.

The triple room has a terrace and a bathroom with bathtub instead of shower. As in other rooms, an extra bed is possible, therefore this room is suitable for up to 4 persons.
